I started training with Drew after my wife had been training with him for many years. After 7 months now, I can unequivocally say that it was a great move for me. What a difference now! The workout routines are always different & challenging - so much better than doing the "same old" routine on my own. Drew personalizes workouts to address specific areas or to help strengthen after injuries, in my case, a torn rotator cuff. He understands anatomy and how to train properly to avoid injury. Highly recommended!

I have been training twice a week with Drew for the past 5 years, initially at LA Fitness.  As far as I was aware he was the only coach there who had extensive formal training himself which is the main reason I chose him.  Compared to the other trainers he provided a much more comprehensive and formal regimen.  I'm not interested in muscle body-building so he emphasizes strength, balance, and stability along with some body building.  The set of exercises are very different each day and he is watches closely to be sure that I get the most out of each one.  Drew spends many weekends with professional trainers throughout southern California achieving advanced certificates, using what he learns.   He sets up an individual program for each client.  I always feel that the exercises push my limits, work up a sweat, and address any specific needs I may have (sore hip, muscle kinks, etc).  A few years ago, after taking a 2-month vacation abroad, I postponed returning to training...I'm not a person who enjoys exercising!  After a few months I felt sluggish and achy, and resumed working with Drew.   I just turned 70, am thankfully very active, usually feel in great shape physically, and can't imagine not training with Drew.

As a 60+ y/o construction worker who loves martial arts and weightlifting I have put a lot of hard miles on my body. I went to see Andrew for my shoulder that experienced too many arm bars. Within 2 sessions not only had my shoulder improved but my kicks were easily 6 inches higher than before. No stretching had ever accomplished that. Andrew is helping me improve my mobility and strength!

My job includes a lot of desk & computer work. My body showed it, slouching, minimal hip mobility, restricted shoulder mobility, and overall weakness. That was about 5 years ago. Every session with Andrew is a challenge. Whether it is strength training or mobility class, he always brings some new concept, exercise or movements to the session that pushes me both mentally and physically. Andrew is currently my trainer and has been for over 8 years. First, he helped me at LA Fitness, and now he has his own business. Andrew is wonderful, to say the least. He cares about your whole body and provides training that helps you personally. If I tell him something hurts, he revises the exercise to meet my needs.
